As someone who spent her entire childhood playing the ‘I’m going to college’ game, you could say I’ve always loved learning and information. I didn’t like college much when I finally got there but I’ve always loved work and the gratification of a job well done.

Following an English Literature & Language degree (plus three hedonistic years in glamorous Portsmouth) I then went back to London to intern in corporate PR.

Before long, I’d fallen quite Alice-like into the fast paced world of events. I spent the next two and a half years becoming the Head of Marketing at a global event technology firm (who I still work with today!) managing their entire marketing function and travelling to places such as Dubai, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Vienna to run events and deliver new products.

Following three years on the steepest learning curve imaginable, peppered with passionate people and exciting events, I moved agency-side to help an incredibly talented product studio to deliver world-class digital products.

Next was a brief stint working on content strategy for Dove.

Then at the beginning of 2015 I found myself on a natural progression to becoming a freelance marketing consultant and I haven’t looked back since.
